Hotel Paris - Mestre

The location was super easy to navigate, being just a few minutes from the train station, which was perfect for our day trips to Venice. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and had great amenities like free Wi-Fi and a functioning heating system. It felt like a solid choice for exploring the area instead of shelling out for a pricier spot in Venice. We also appreciated the helpful tips from the staff about things to see in Mestre and Venice. It was a decent stay for our short visit!

the hotel was reasonably clean and the location was convenient and ideal close to the trainstation. i enjoyed staying here, the breakfast was freshly cooked and savoury with coffee from an automatic coffee automat.

The guest room was brand-new and the bed was big. I got essential facilities, like a good balcony and a kettle.

Convenient stay with friendly staff

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Mestre train station. The staff was helpful, providing travel tips and a warm welcome. Breakfast offered a variety of options, including pastries and fruits, which we enjoyed every morning.

Unfortunately, our room was a bit dark, with limited lighting options. We noticed some sound transmission between rooms, a bit noisy at times. While the stay was mostly pleasant, a kettle in the room would have been a nice addition.

Hotel Paris was a friendly, modern hotel, convenient to the Mestre Station, and an easy bus/train to Venice. Staff provided helpful information about buses, where to dine in Mestre and any events which might interrupt one's movement in Venice. Very good value for money.

Great apartment, great understanding of our needs. Excellent breakfast and staff were extremely helpful and pleasant!

We couldn't find a hotel in Venice within our budget and decided to stay here. The hotel does not look so fancy from outside, and Mestre is not the prettiest town -- but the room was very modern and clean and very efficiently laid out. And the breakfast, while simple, was delicious! The brioche was heavenly. It is true that the hotel is steps away from the train station that brings you right into Venice (for very little money, I think it was 1 euro each way) in about 7 minutes. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place as a great alternative to staying at the costly ones in the heart of Venice.

A short (300 yds.) 3 or 4 minute walk from the Venice Mestre train station. Recently remodeled rooms. Comfortable beds & pillows. Speedy, free WiFi. Excellent bathroom & shower. Tasty breakfast with good variety. Friendly, attentive staff. You need a different password for each computer to get on the wireless network. Our family had two laptops with us, and the staff very kindly provided us with a second password at no charge. Also, we had a very early train to catch on the day that we were checking out. Even though the breakfast had not yet officially opened, the staff gave us permission to take a some croissants with us on our journey. I would definitely consider staying at the Hotel Paris again on our next trip to Venice!

Only one minor complaint. The hotel apparently has had problems with people taking food from the breakfast area, so they have posted signs requesting that guests not remove food. I had no problem with the signs, but it did seem that the woman behind the breakfast counter was carefully surveilling everyone as they ate. That detracted from what otherwise would have been a very nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Staying at Hotel Paris was a great choice for my trip to Venice. The location is super convenient, just a block from the Mestre Train Station. The room felt cozy, complete with amenities like a safety deposit box and a mini refrigerator. I appreciated how clean the room always was when I returned from exploring Venice. The breakfast, while basic with mostly cold cuts and sandwiches, was served until 10 am, and the owners were very accommodating, even extending the hours for us over the weekend. The owners and staff were nice, providing helpful information and a warm welcome. On the downside, there were a few minor issues with the room configuration that could be improved, like sound transmission between rooms. I experienced some noise from the hallway and closer rooms that kept me up one night. This hotel offered good value for the price and a comfortable stay overall.

centrally located close to train station and bus stops to Venice,nicely refurbished, friendly staff and very clean hotel, breakfast was good besides Claudia does the best capucchino in town.

Air conditioning was a significant letdown-initially non-functional and inadequate in cooling the room. The shower felt cramped, lacking a shelf for toiletries, and cleanliness wasn't quite up to par. Some cupboard areas had stains resembling mold. Noise from the street and nearby rooms disrupted sleep considerably due to the thin walls and poor soundproofing.

Exceptionally clean and charming small place with helpful and attentive staff at the reception desk.

The receptionist was very helpful. Room and bathroom were comfortable. Hotel was very easy to find and location is very convenient - a very short walk from the Mestre station.

At times there was some unpleasant smell in the bathroom, probably coming from the drain in the floor. Rooms have hard floors, so you will probably hear people walking in the room above yours. Nothing major though.
